It's the roar that made Milwaukee famous, the distinctive throaty rumble of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. But that much-loved racket could be rumbling away to another state if the company cannot bring down its labour costs. Share your thoughts on Harley Davidson's here!

Should HD close it wouldnt be a great loss. There are many REAL motorcycles available today.
HD has lived in the past with there Vee Twins.

Hardly Abelson worlds fastest tractor, suspect engineering,a knife and fork conrod and all for the people who are having a mid life crisis,it's a bike people get over your selves.I have ridden them all from a 1963 Vellocette 350 Mac to having a couple of Bimota's sitting in my garage and I think I well enough qualified to comment after 40 years of riding and that's riding every day and not just at weekends and looking at my reflection in the shop windows as I trawl the shopping centers.

Everyone knows Harleys are about a lifestyle - they are not meant for boy-racer upstarts. If you want speed, mechanical perfection and general high-tech, you are spoilt for choice in today's market. Harleys are the classiest bikes bar none on the planet, precisely because of their rich heritage, dated styling and the fact that they have no competition to keep up with. In the biking universe, Harley occupies its own planet and those who love their Harleys know it's only a matter of time before their fellow bikers gravitate towards their wonderful world.

@ Trident, I have also been riding for many years, and owned many bikes so by your standard also qualified to comment. Have you ever even sat on a Harley - Please don't as you may be tempted. Your need to put other down says more about you than them. As for your Bimota's please look at how well they are doing in the Moto2 class. You may want to sell yours if you can find a buyer

Harleys are a volatile topic, you love em or you don’t love em.
The only ones I love are up to the mid 60’s and without the extra bling. I’ve never ridden one and don’t have a desire to.
I understand Tridents and the various gusts feelings...at least HD’s are bikes.
I’m pretty sure trident will agree that the best HD’s ever made were Aermacchi’s , but then they wenrt really HD’s. ;-)
